Because of the Strengthening One

Description:

You've probably heard this verse quoted as "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," and you may have wondered how it could possibly be true. Especially when you tried to fly like a bird by flapping your arms up and down and— surprisingly— it didn't work!

So can you really do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you?

No. You can't.

But before you throw out the entire Bible, look at what this verse REALLY says! (Hint: it's on the blanket LOL)

The incorrect rendering of this verse has been misused as a manipulation tactic in some religious circles as an excuse for perfectionistic authoritarians to over-work and exasperate those under their authority, so knowing the more accurate rendering can be a very refreshing reminder for those survivors, and anyone else who has wondered about the passage before.

You need not strive to be any stronger, because you are ALREADY strong in all things because of the One who strengthens you! If you have not hit a hard time in life yet, you've got one coming. But you can look FORWARD to it, because your Savior will strengthen you through it. He will be right in it WITH you, and you'll come out on the other side as His masterpiece!

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

Sometimes the galleries will fail to display images and instead display a single color or a very pixelated image. This can happen because some of my portfolio images are very high resolution, (even up to 15,000 pixels across- Photoshop's maximum export size) which can cause them to load slowly for some users.

Here are two things you can try if you think something weird is going on:

1. If you see a solid color, try refreshing your browser tab.

2. If you see a blurry image, first try waiting a bit if your internet is slow, and if that doesn't work, try step 1.

Also keep in mind that depending on your internet speed, when you click on one of these images for full-screen mode, it can take up to several minutes before you see the full-resolution version!
