Frequently Asked Questions

Service-Related Questions:

Q: What services do you provide?
A: See Services.

Q: What are your hourly rates for each service?
A: My hourly rate for website design is $75, while for the other servic
es - graphic design, product design, image compositing, logo-brand design, and image restoration, I charge $39 per hour.

Q: Can I see examples of your previous work?
A: Absolutely, you can view my portfolio which contains examples of
my previous work in each of the service categories.

Q: How long does it typically take to complete a project?
A: This varies depending on the complexity of the project and the specific service you require. For example, an image restoration job can occasionally be just a few minutes of work depending on what you need to be done, and website design can be anywhere from one week to two or three months. There are hundreds of var
iables in all the different types of work I do, but I strive to deliver high-quality work promptly.

Q: Can I request a custom service that's not listed on your website?
A: Of course! At the end of the day, the six variations of services I offer are just arbitrary terms I use to help organize my work and portfolio. I fully expect that many customers may have work that fits into more than one category or none at all, and I am happy to discuss any unique requirements or custom projects you might have. Please feel free to reach out to me with your ideas.

Q: How do you handle revisions or changes to the project?
A: See Policies.

Q: What's the process for starting a new project?
A: Whether or not you've decided on the service you need, you can reach out to me directly. (I typically respond faster than most people were expecting.) We'll discuss your requirements, and then I'll provide you with a quote and timeframe for the project.

Payment-Related Questions:

Q: How can I find my invoice and/or pay for your services?
A: See How to Find and Pay Your Price Quote or Invoice.

Q: Do you offer any payment plans or financing options?
A: Yes— see How to Use Affirm to Split Payments
.

Q: Are there any additional costs that I should be aware of?
A: I aim to be upfront about all costs. The only unpredictable element is how many revisions you will want, and how extensive they will be. I try to estimate this upfront whenever possible but as you can imagine, there are occasionally curve balls. If your budget is very strict be sure to let me know and I will try to be as helpful as possible.

Project-Specific Questions:

A: What information do you need from me to start a project?
Q: That of course heavily depends on the project itself, but I will typically need a clear understanding of your vision for the project— unless you don't have one, in which case I am very creative and can take criticism so I am happy to throw out some ideas and/or examples. I also need to know any specific design preferences you have, and any other relevant details that can help me deliver a final product that meets your needs.

A: Can I provide input or feedback during the design process?
Q: Absolutely— I value your input and feedback throughout the design process. Your satisfaction with the final product is my top priority, and the more often you provide feedback, the less time and money we will spend on the project.

Q: How will I receive the final product?
A: The delivery method varies depending on the type of service, but I'll be sure to discuss this with you at the start of the project.

Q: What happens if I'm not satisfied with the final product?
A: See Policies.
