Gideon's Throw Blanket

*PSA: You have entered the realm of large file sizes. Your patience is appreciated! Things may take longer than usual to load and respond to user input here.

This blanket was requested by Ilse for her son, Gideon. He's adorable. I happily created it as soon as I saw the request!

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon in Judges 6:12, he called him a "valiant warrior..." but Gideon had been hiding behind the winepress from the invading Midianite army! He did not understand how the angel could call him a "valiant warrior." He thought he was the least in his family, and his family the least in the nation. But the angel of the Lord saw him AS HE WOULD BE— not as he was. This throw blanket is an awesome reminder that whether or not you see your own potential yet, God sees all of it right now! He believes in you!

Philippians 1:6 | "And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Yeshua the Messiah— right up until the time of His return— developing that good work in you and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you."

Dawson has created a few different designs for me over the last few years. One blanket for my son with the theme of Judges 6:12, a “valiant warrior”. He also did my Three Frog Heart art business logo, and my Periwinkle Farms business logo. I have loved every design!

Sometimes the galleries will fail to display images and instead display a single color or a very pixelated image. This can happen because some of my portfolio images are very high resolution, (even up to 15,000 pixels across- Photoshop's maximum export size) which can cause them to load slowly for some users.

Here are two things you can try if you think something weird is going on:

1. If you see a solid color, try refreshing your browser tab.

2. If you see a blurry image, first try waiting a bit if your internet is slow, and if that doesn't work, try step 1.

Also keep in mind that depending on your internet speed, when you click on one of these images for full-screen mode, it can take up to several minutes before you see the full-resolution version!
