Psalm 71:16 | "I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will remind them of Your righteousness— of Yours alone."
As soon as I read that verse, I saw this image in my head and set out to create it! It is a great reminder that the only way for us to have success in anything is to let the Special One— or as He is also called, the Holy Spirit— do it through us. I knew this truth for many years but never knew HOW to let Him work through me. There isn't any button to push! Over time, He has taught me that the only way to let Him take over is for me to completely GIVE UP. We must come to a breaking point before we are able to give over our desire for control to the King. So now, I ask him to break me often— because I know that He only breaks my cursed Flesh, not my spirit. And as one might assume, because of this, I do indeed give up often, and on many things— but that allows Yahweh to do them Himself, through me! It's the only way to truly live.
