How It Works
Your Vision, Made Tangible
So you’ve got an idea for some killer merch. But here’s the tough question: will anyone besides you and your mom actually want to wear it? That’s the gap I specialize in bridging. Want to see what this looks like in the real world? I partnered with my client, Good Together, to design their entire “Good Together Gear” merchandise line and e-commerce shop. It’s a prime example of turning a great message into products people love.
That’s the level of quality and strategy I bring to every project. Ready to create your own line of standout merch? Here’s the playbook for how we get it done.
1. The Kickoff
It starts with a simple question: What are we making? We’ll hop on a call to discuss your vision, whether it’s for a single custom piece or a full product line. We’ll talk about the design you want and the physical item you want it on—from hoodies and hats to the delightfully unexpected (yes, I can do shower curtains).
2. The Blueprint
After our call, I’ll send you a detailed Scope of Work. This is our shared plan, and it ensures total clarity. It outlines:
The Design: The specifics of the new custom design or the modifications to an existing one.
The Product: The exact merchandise item(s) we’ve chosen.
The Design Investment: A single, fixed price for my creative services. No hourly guesswork.
The Next Steps: What I need from you to get started.
3. The Virtual Photoshoot
This is where the magic happens. You won’t have to guess what your product will look like. I’ll create hyper-realistic digital mockups, showing you exactly how the design will look and feel on your chosen item. We’ll use your two included revision rounds to tweak the design until it’s absolutely perfect.
4. The Handoff
Once you give the final thumbs-up on the mockup, I’ll prepare and deliver the pixel-perfect, print-ready files formatted specifically for the manufacturer. You’ll have everything you need to confidently place your order.
The Investment
My creative work is billed on a fixed-price basis, which will be clearly stated in your Scope of Work.
Please Note: The investment for my service covers the design, mockups, and preparation of the final print files. The physical cost of the merchandise itself and the shipping fees are separate. I will provide you with a clear estimate for these production costs in your scope so you have a complete picture of the total investment.
